Mobiliser un nouveau régime d’imagination pour nous transformer en terrestres
Rejetée par la figure du terrestre, celle de l’extraterrestre est Moderne : elle est née d’une Fiction se voulant séparée du Réel. L’extraterrestre, pourtant, entraîne les humains à la rencontre avec des entités qu’ils méconnaissent ou ne connaissent pas encore. D’où la nécessité de relier la fiction au réel, en assumant sa puissance effective sur nos réalités par le biais de ce qu’on pourrait appeler une effiction. Cela nous permettrait de passer d’un régime d’imagination moderne à un régime d’imagination terrestre.

Mobilising a New Imagination to Transform Us into Terrestrials
Rejected by the figure of the terrestrial, that of the extraterrestrial is Modern: it is born of a Fiction intended to be separate from Reality. The extraterrestrial, however, brings humans face to face with entities that they do not yet know or are unfamiliar with. Hence the need to link fiction to reality, by assuming its effective power over our realities through what we might call an effiction. This would enable us to move from a regime of modern imagination to a regime of terrestrial imagination.
