Lives and works in Paris. He questions film in all its forms, from manufacture to distribution and reception. In the early 1990s he made his first steps in the domain of curatorship due to collaborations with, among others, Harald Szeemann and Andrew S. Labarthe. He was one of the curators of the Biennale de Lyon in 2001, and in 2005 he participated as invited artist. He presented a work, which questioned the specific systems of showing the moving image and the role of the viewer in such a context. His considerations aim towards a redefinition of film as a medium, and its technical aspects and include a heretical history of practices and filmic devices, and debates on copyright.
