Cet entretien a été conçu pour présenter l’idée d’interface anthropotechnique, notion qui apparaît comme sous-titre de l’ouvrage Postnaturalism (2014). Ce terme constitue le fil rouge qui se prolonge à travers la trilogie que Shane Denson clôt avec Discorrelated Images (2020) et Post-Cinematic Bodies (2023). Ces trois ouvrages étudient le devenir post-phénoménologique des médias algorithmiques, à travers l’analyse des temporalités et des expérimentations artistiques post-cinématographiques. Ils interrogent l’évolution, ainsi que les convergences et les divergences entre les organes perceptifs et la phylogenèse des médias techniques, lesquels diffractent des temporalités suprasensibles pour l’œil de chair.

Anthropotechnical Interfaces
This interview was conceived in order to elaborate on the idea of the anthropotechnical interface, a notion that appears as the subtitle of Postnaturalism (2014). This term constitutes the guiding thread that extends throughout the trilogy that Shane Denson concludes with Discorrelated Images (2020) and Post-Cinematic Bodies (2023). These three books examine the post-phenomenological becoming of algorithmic media through analyses of temporalities and post-cinematic artistic experiments. They interrogate the evolution, as well as the convergences and divergences, between perceptual organs and the phylogenesis of technical media, which diffract suprasensible temporalities for the eye of the flesh.
