Le privilège de la transgression
Jean-Christophe Goddard, mêlant contre-anthropologie populaire congolaise, analyse littéraire, psychanalyse et théorie décoloniale, esquisse un dévoilement de la blanchité comme disposition extrinsèque à absolutiser la violence au-delà de toute mesure, à l’optimiser perversement dans la perspective d’une sorte de « perfection négative ». Il reconstruit une figure du Blanc comme celui qui, s’instituant seul maître de la loi, s’institue ce faisant comme maître de sa violation, maître d’une transgression illimitée, qui ne se mesure plus à l’aune de la loi, mais s’alimente indéfiniment d’elle-même. Le privilège de la blanchité, qu’est la blanchité, étant le privilège positif de détruire infiniment autrui.

The Privilege of Transgression
Jean-Christophe Goddard, combining Congolese popular reverse-anthropology, literary analysis, psychoanalysis and decolonial theory, sketches an unveiling of whiteness as an extrinsic disposition to absolutise violence beyond all measure, to perversely optimise it in the perspective of a kind of “negative perfection”. He reconstructs the figure of the White as one who, setting himself up as the sole master of the law, thereby establishes himself as the master of its violation, the master of unlimited transgression, which is no longer measured by the yardstick of the law, but feeds indefinitely on itself. The privilege of whiteness, which is whiteness itself, is the positive privilege of infinitely destroying others.
