La perspective sera ici celle de comprendre comment Le Dieu noir et le Diable blond [Deus e o Diabo Na Terra do Sol, de Glauber Rocha, a construit le sertão et comment ce sertão définit et projette le Brésil. Glauber Rocha a filmé à l’épicentre des contradictions qui existent dans l’affirmation du Brésil face à un autre extérieur et face à la présence d’autres au sein de la nation, mais aussi dans la présence d’une pluralité de voix et de sujets historiques face aux agissements d’un Etat national qui planifie la diversité.

This article tries to understand how Glauber Rocha’s Black God, White Devil [Deus e o Diabo Na Terra do Sol movies has constructed the sertão and how that sertão delineates and projects the country.
